Let me first introduce myself. I grew up outside of Colorado Springs at the base of Pikes Peak.  I attended Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee. I graduated in 2014 with a double Bachelors in Special Education and Elementary Education. I am licensed to teach Elementary Education, Mild Moderate Disabilities, and Severe Profound Disabilities. I am currently in graduate school at University of Oklahoma pursuing my M.Ed in Special Education and Applied Behavioral Analysis. I met my husband in Mazatlan Mexico working at an orphanage for children with special needs. He is a Physical Therapist. We both live in Midwest City with our two dogs and bunny :)

When I was very young, I was diagnosed with severe learning disabilities but a high intelligence. I was told I would never learn how to read or write and that I needed to learn artesian skills to support myself later in life. I grew up in the Special Education classroom. With my parents’ support, I learned how to adapt and work hard. I eventually learned how to read and write, I taught myself how to succeed in a world that does not accommodate a person who cannot read or write well. I want to spend the rest of my life working with children that have been told they cannot succeed. I love finding the strengths and talents in every child.

I really encourage parental support and my class would not run without it. No one knows your child better than yourself. I am always open to hearing from you and meeting with you. The best way to contact me is through email or text. I only answer work emails and texts during my work hours.

My work hours are posted below, you are welcome to schedule a time with me to meet during my work hours. If those times do not work for you, let me know and we will arrange something else.

My hours: 7:00am till 3:00pm
